Hollywood beauty MILLA JOVOVICH will return to zombie slaying when she begins filming the third installment in the RESIDENT EVIL franchise in April (06).

The 30-year-old actress will reprise her role as ALICE in RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, in which her character has to decrypt a virus threatening the human race.

HIGHLANDER film-maker RUSSELL MULCAHY will direct the film.

The first two "Resident Evil" movies took more than $600 million (GBP334 million) worldwide.
