Star Magazine notes that flat is in what is described as an "ugly" high-rise but it does have a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. The short item in this week's Star describes Paris as many of us know it:
Their apartment is an ugly concrete high-rise, on a grungily hip thoroughfare opposite a loud metro station, surrounded by cheap fast food restaurants and, given the characteristically French plumbing and air-conditioning problems, sometimes a “sickly, cabbage type smell fills the entire building,” says one of their neighbors.
