The Vera Wang designer dress worn by Oscar nominated British actress Keira Knightly to this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, will be sold for charity.
The dress will be sold on worldwide known auction website eBay to the highest buyer, the money will go to the organization Oxfam to help the East African food crisis.
Knightley is very proud to be donating this amazing dress and she is pleased to have the proceeds go to Oxfam.
"I have seen the TV reports on the horrendous drought in East Africa and I know how desperate things have become, so I am happy to be able to do something to help." Keira states, according to Daily Mail.
Oxfam's director for East Africa, Paul Smith-Lomas, give thanks to Knightley and many others for their donations and sympathy of this terrible crisis. The hope is the public will look at this as a cause to help and make this auction a great success.
The plum color designer gawn currently on display at a West London branch of Oxfam, reported Daily Mail.
