Jessica Simpson plans to auction off her 3.5 carat diamond wedding band and donate the money to a charity. The hot actress/singer use to wear the ring around her neck, but no more.

Jessica has announced this new plan to Nick personally. "Nick flipped out, an insider revealed. "He pleaded with her to meet so they could discuss it." According to National Ledger.

Jessica has agreed to meet with him, but she's refused to disappoint the charity that she promised to contribute to.

If the couple ever reconciled, she would want a new ring for a fresh start.
