Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have named their new baby daughter Shiloh Nouvel — which means “New Messiah”.

Shiloh is the Hebrew word for Messiah, or “Peaceful One”, while Nouvel is French for new.

The little girl, who will have the surname Jolie-Pitt, was born in Namibia, Southern Africa, on Saturday night.

Pouty-lipped Angelina, 30, and Brad, 42, have been staying at the luxury Burning Shore Beach Lodge for the last six weeks.
