Oscar-winning MIRA SORVINO and husband CHRIS BACKUS had their first son Johnny on Memorial Day. Their daughter Mattea Angel welcomed her baby brother into the world.

Baby Johnny was born at Beverly Hills Medical center at 5:50 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. and 14 oz., and was 21 in. long.

Sorvino's rep said: "Mira and Johnny are doing great and are both in very good health."
