She supposedly did her own hair and make-up and that turned into a big mistake. Her hair was describe as a "rat's nest". Britney never understood her image was failing until she decided to do her own make-over. Her fans reacted--like she did something horrible! She only cut her hair and dyed it black. 'No big deal'! Wrong! Not only did her fans react to her new look but also editor to Harper's Bazaar fashion magazine (who were were featuring her on an upcoming cover).
The fashion magazine editor was shocked when she showed up to the photo shoot. Stylists for the shoot attached brunette hair extensions at the last minute.
The new look makes her look older, more sophisticated.
