Jessica Simpson has bruised her voice. Now, whatever that means - hell if I know! Simpson was forced to cancel several performances. These shows were promoting her new album A Public Affair.
Jessica has disappointed three top shows: Today Show, MTV Total Request Live and the Late Show with David Letterman. She's either had to cancel her performance or postpone to a later date. When a singer bruises their vocal cord, it's very important to rest it for several weeks or there could be permanent damage.
Her representative said: "It's unfortunate that Jessica has lost her voice on the night of her album release. The timing is the worse but all we can do is hope for a speedy recovery."
