Ashlee Simpson is the new face of Skechers clothing line.
"Ashlee is a very talented young singer and she's one of the most powerful influences of the young population today," said Skechers president Michael Greenberg. "She makes a perfect fit between fashion and music, using her creativity to empower young women to be themselves. We were drawn to her grace, style and energy.”
Ashlee is also a good fit because she grew up wearing Skechers. "Sketchers is brand that is not afraid to going the beyond," Simpson said in the release. “I look forward to represent Skechers clothing line; I also hope to add a few more pairs to my wardrobe.”
She's replacing top stars like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Carrie Underwood.
