Smith’s current boyfriend and also is her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, was thought to be Dannie Lynn Hope's father. Smith and Stern have been together and even exchanged (non-legal) wedding vows and plan to get officially hitched soon.
But unfortunately Smith’s ex-boyfriend, photographer Larry Birkhead, is certain that he's the dad and has filed a lawsuit demanding that she and the baby return to California for DNA testing. According to Associated News. Smith was served on Monday in the Bahamas.
