Ashlee Simpson has opened up about preparing for her baby. The singer, who confirmed her pregnancy in May, says she and new husband Pete Wentz are busy decorating the baby’s nursery and baby-proofing their Hollywood home.
“We’re getting the nursery ready. I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun,” Simpson said.
The 22-year-old had only good things to say about Wentz. “I have the greatest husband. He’s so awesome it’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with,” she said.
Simpson says they haven’t decided on any names. “I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes,” Simpson added.
The singer is due to give birth this fall.
