Christina Aguilera is "excited" about joining the world and Charlie Sheen on Twitter this week. Posting her first 140 characters late Tuesday, Aguilera thanked fans, promoted Linda Perry's band, and followed a select few of her 100,000 and counting followers.
"Here goes my first Tweet! Brace yourselves… So excited to connect with all my fans here. xo - Xtina," the Grammy Award winner and 'The Voice' judge wrote late Tuesday. "Thanks for the welcome to Twitter. I’m getting the hang of this. Never thought I’d say the word “hashtag”. Pandora's box has been opened."
News of Aguilera joining Twitter spread quickly, giving her over 100,000 followers by early Wednesday morning.
